There is nothing worse than someone willing to take advantage of young girls. That’s exactly what many exotic dance clubs owners do to their dancers. For the most part, many dancers are young, vulnerable, and disadvantaged. Exotic dance club owners recruit these girls, and then illegally fail to pay them for the work they perform.CLG is currently investigating a number of exotic dancer cases. Many of the clubs in Ohio treat their dancers like independent contractors and fail to pay them wages for all hour worked. Moreover, they require dancers to pay illegal dance fees or stage fees at the beginning or end of every shift. Sometimes a dancer will leave her shift without earning a penny, and actually owing the club money....
